When it All Started…

Camie Anne Manwill found her passion for beach volleyball in 2014, and now plays competitively on the AVP tour. Her road to the beach began in Paradise California where she played indoor volleyball and subsequently earned a full-ride scholarship to Utah Valley University. While playing Division 1 volleyball she earned her BS degree in Exercise Science. Since graduating, she has coached for the Gold Medal Squared Volleyball Camps and Clinics, traveling the United States for 5 years. She also served as head coach for the JV indoor teams at American Fork High School, and as Varsity and JV Coach at Pleasant Grove High School. In 2016 Camie was the men’s frosh-soph team coach at Santa Margarita Catholic High School. She currently helps run a christian based beach club out of Newport Beach CA called Sand Soul.
Being a competitor herself and currently playing on the tour, she recognizes the importance of strength training and conditioning to be a vital part of a long and successful career. She has made that her career goal and uses her experience to train her athletes. Camie has so much passion not just in volleyball but in life! She spreads that love throughout all of her students. We are fortunate enough to have such and experience player, but more importantly a genuine coach on our team.
