Coach Rylie Vaughn
Rylie played club for Wisconsin Ice in Wausau for seven years, and Milwaukee Sting for her last two years. In 2014 and 2016, Vaughn earned a spot on the Badger High-Performance team and competed with other standout Wisconsin athletes at the USA HP National Championships.
Vaughn excelled in Beach Volleyball, bringing home a USA Volleyball Junior Beach National Championship in 2014, and bronze in 2016. At 14 years old, Rylie and her partner won the 18U Waupaca Boatride sand tournament. She won the Wisconsin Ice Youth Beach League five years in a row and now helps run it with her mom, Taryn Vaughn. Taryn played for Notre Dame in college, professionally for the Madison Fury, and professional beach in 1993 and has been Rylie's primary coach her whole life.
In high school, Rylie was an integral part of Newman Catholic's record-breaking team and during her years there she earned All-State honors three times, the Fighting Cardinals won three State Championships and made four State Tournament appearances. Newman Catholic won four consecutive conference championships, and Rylie was named Marawood Conference Player of the Year as a senior and was a unanimous first-team all-conference selection all four years. She earned a scholarship to the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee.
Since at Milwaukee, Rylie has contributed over 1000 assists in under two years. In her sophomore season, Milwaukee had the best record ever recorded in program history and held the longest active winning streak in the nation. Upon she has earned setter of the year in 2020
She has been coaching with Kerri since 2018 and looking forward to another amazing beach volleyball season.
